Emergence TNG Season 7, Episode 23

Star Trek: The Next Generation Season 7 Episodes 23 "Emergence" explained. Join me as I review and recap the episode with a ridiculous premise that the Enterprise becomes alive, the purpose of this life is apparently to create another life form but we never find out why this happened of what kind of life form the Enterprise created. This episode is just an excuse to do holodeck shenanigans, because the holodeck is the Enterprise's dreams or whatever so Troi, Data and Worf go into the holodeck to try to interpret what's going on and it's a bunch of ridiculous metaphors that just come off as cheesy.
