Explorers DS9 Season 3, Episode 22

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Season 3 Episode 22 "Explorers" explained. Join me as I review and recap the episode where Jake and Benjamin Sisko go on a father / son trip on an ancient Bajoran sailing space ship. There are some great character moments between the two and Benjamin and Jake continue to be the strongest father / son relationship in Trek, but the main story about them sailing a space ship to prove the ancient Bajorans made it to Cardassia was not interesting and a little silly. Frankly I appreciate the B plot more that saw Bashir feeling inadequate over a visit from a former class mate who ignored him, which has a glorious scene of Bashir and O'Brien getting drunk together.
