Sons and Daughters Review ST DS9 S6 E3
Star Trek: Voyager Season 6 Episode 3 "Sons and Daughters" explained. Join me as I review and recap a terrible episode that character assassinated both Alexander and Worf. It's not just that this episode is inconsistent with Alexander's character, and that they aged him up 10 years, but also that this is the absolutely wrong direction to take this character in and makes no sense what so ever and this episode doesn't even TRY to explain. And also this is the episode responsible for the trope of Worf being a terrible father. TNG actually left their relationship in a good place, and Worf learned to accept and love his son. This episode completely undoes all of that, and turns him into one of the worst fathers in Star Trek. The B plot is good though, as it brings Ziyal back to the station and Dukat (another terrible father, but maybe not as bad as Worf, I mean he at least was shattered when Ziyal died, I doubt Worf would give a shit if Alexander died) uses his daughter in a plot to manipulate Major Kira. It's an interesting plot, but also takes up very little screen time. Come see my first reaction as I breakdown the episode and attempt to give my in depth analysis
