The Abandoned DS9 Season 3, Episode 6

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Season 3 Episode 6 "The Abandoned" explained. Join me as I review and recap the episode where Odo becomes a segregate father to a Jem'hadar baby, and it doesn't go the way he would hope. While I think this is a fascinating story line where we learn more about the Jem'hadar I'm not pleased with the ending that seems to imply people are irredeemable. Plus it seems like the easy and predictable way to go. There's also a side plot with Sisko trying to break up his son and a dabo girl, but then changing his mind when he learns more about his son, this was okay, as it furthers the Sisko / Jake relationship.
