Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Season 5 Episode 12 "The Begotten" explained. Join me as I review and recap the episode where Odo becomes a daddy to a baby changeling that he's trying to teach to learn how to shape shift. While his daddy: Mora Pol comes aboard to push for a harsher upbringing one that Odo still holds resentment for. They argue, they bond, the baby dies but gives Odo his shape shifting abilities back, it's a great character story for Odo and a touching story. There's also a B plot with Kira giving birth where Shakaar was being a dick, I could have done without that.
