Enchantment of Eternity’s Star Trek Episode Reviews
Welcome to Enchantment of Eternity. I’m Marc, and I’m on a mission to analyze every episode of the Star Trek Franchise. I started with The Original Series, and then moved on to The Next Generation, and now I’m covering Deep Space Nine and Voyager in order of airdate. It’s my mission statement to always give my honest opinion on each and every episode regardless of what the popular opinion is, so sometimes I have some hot takes. I prefer character based stories. I try to analyze the writing, acting, cinematography, and music of each episode, with emphasis on the writing. I explore themes and commentaries on the episode and give my opinion on whether or not it works, as well as explore some behind the scenes tidbits and trivia, and share my personal experience with the episode. We also hear from my patreon supporters and what they think of the episode. So check me out and give it a listen.

Join me as I review and recap Die Hard on Space ship. This is Die Hard on a space ship, anyone who tells you otherwise is wrong, and it's a fun popcorn episode, not much more to it, but that's all it wants to be.

Join me as I review and recap the first in a series of boring and unfunny Ferengi episode. This one isn't so bad as we're introduced to Wallace Shawn's Grand Nagus Zek, and it also features an after school special with Jake teaching Nog how to read.

Join me as I cover the most panned episode of the show, that many people claim is the worst episode of the show, and I kind of like it, I think it's okay. I don't think this episode is a masterpiece but it's NO WHERE NEAR as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It's a fun goofy story about visitors from the Gamma Quadrant being so obsessed with games that they put the senior officers into a game against their will. And Odo pronounces that he's not INNNNNNNNNN Starfleet and Quark gets on his knees and begs "PLEASE!", a real fun episode.

Join me as I review and recap this somewhat mediocre early episode of DS9 that is a fairly interesting look at the black market and criminal life on the station, but features one of the worst performances from Julian Bashir actor Alexander Siddig.

Join me as I review and recap this disjointed and inconsistent two parter that starts out promising with an interesting storyline about Data learning to dream with a guest cameo from doctor Bashir, and Worf finding out his father may still be alive, but is followed up by a very disappointing part 2 where Worf comes off as racist to Romulans and has a romance with someone far too young for him.

Join me as I review and recap this okay episode called "Dax" but barely explores the character of Jadzia Dax and is more concerned about throwing exposition about the Trill at you. It uses the overly tired cliche of a trial of a wrongful accused main cast member whom everyone knows is innocent, in order to do this. But it does it in a somewhat entertaining way.

Join me as I review and recap this poor attempt to integrate a TNG fan favorite into the new DS9 show, that doesn't work out very well. However the TNG character of Vash fits right at home at DS9 to make a somewhat entertaining if not forgettable episode.

Join me as I review and recap this amazing and impactful episode the expertly deals with the topic of regret in a unique a Star Trek-esque way: by using TNG staples like Q, time travel, and alternate realities. This really relatable episode explores the character of Picard, his past, and how he became the great captain that he is.

Join me as I review and recap one of the best Romulan episodes ever made, and the best performance that Marina Sirtis ever gave in the series. A classic tale of intrigue and suspense.

Join me as I review and recap this classic use of the wormhole, as we meet a unique alien from the Gamma Quadrant who is based off the classic short story "The Most Dangerous Game". Although this episode feels a lot like a Next Generation episode, it is still one of the best of Season 1 as it's a great character story for O'Brien.
