Welcome to Enchantment of Eternity. I’m Marc, and I’m on a mission to analyze every episode of the Star Trek Franchise. I started with The Original Series, and then moved on to The Next Generation, and now I’m covering Deep Space Nine and Voyager in order of airdate. It’s my mission statement to always give my honest opinion on each and every episode regardless of what the popular opinion is, so sometimes I have some hot takes. I prefer character based stories. I try to analyze the writing, acting, cinematography, and music of each episode, with emphasis on the writing. I explore themes and commentaries on the episode and give my opinion on whether or not it works, as well as explore some behind the scenes tidbits and trivia, and share my personal experience with the episode. Geordi actually scores this time instead of being rejected (although he still can't help but be a little creepy), and Trek tries it's hand at a Noir episode and does a fairly good job. THE DOG DID IT!

This is an amazing mind twisty episode, that utilizes the holodeck probably the best ever done in the Star Trek. As they turn a Sherlock Holmes mystery into a thought provoking science fiction adventure.

Join me as I review and recap this somewhat cheesy episode that feels really syndicated to me, and reminds me of Babylon 5. We meet Garak for the first time so that's a plus, but Kira and the Bajorans don't come off really well in this episode.

We do get a rather powerful character story for Sisko making it a really character based way to kick off the series.

Join me as I cover this amazing two parter where Picard is sent on a dangerous mission, and then capture and tortured by Cardassians who have an obsession with asking him how many lights he sees. Meanwhile on the Enterprise, Picard is replaced by a terrible, terrible, horrible, bad Captain who absolutely sucks at his job. And does things like changing the shift rotation from 3 to 4 for absolutely no reason what so ever other than a power trip, because who always has to have power over everyone else.

Join me as I review and recap this overrated dull episode. Here we are yet another trapped in a holodeck episode, some people seemed to be wowed by the fact it's a Western but I'm not, because underneath that, it's just another bland trapped in the holodeck cliche, even though the episode started out good, and could have been a good character story about Worf bonding with his son, but instead it got take over by THE THREAT OF THE WEEK!
