Welcome to Enchantment of Eternity. I’m Marc, and I’m on a mission to analyze every episode of the Star Trek Franchise. I started with The Original Series, and then moved on to The Next Generation, and now I’m covering Deep Space Nine and Voyager in order of airdate. It’s my mission statement to always give my honest opinion on each and every episode regardless of what the popular opinion is, so sometimes I have some hot takes. I prefer character based stories. I try to analyze the writing, acting, cinematography, and music of each episode, with emphasis on the writing. I explore themes and commentaries on the episode and give my opinion on whether or not it works, as well as explore some behind the scenes tidbits and trivia, and share my personal experience with the episode. Join me as I review and recap this overrated dull episode. Here we are yet another trapped in a holodeck episode, some people seemed to be wowed by the fact it's a Western but I'm not, because underneath that, it's just another bland trapped in the holodeck cliche, even though the episode started out good, and could have been a good character story about Worf bonding with his son, but instead it got take over by THE THREAT OF THE WEEK!

Join me as I review and recap this Two part cliff hanger that started out very engaging but then dropped the ball hard in part 2. It began as an eerie and creepy episode where they found Data's head meaning they knew he was going to die, and there were shape shifting aliens traveling in Earth's past and sucking the life force out of people, very horror-esque stuff. But then part two turns into a near cartoon with an over the top caricature of Mark Twain, and an annoying inn keeper who pronounces Picard's name wrong, and is there... for some reason *shrug*.
