Enchantment of Eternity’s Star Trek Episode Reviews
Welcome to Enchantment of Eternity. I’m Marc, and I’m on a mission to analyze every episode of the Star Trek Franchise. I started with The Original Series, and then moved on to The Next Generation, and now I’m covering Deep Space Nine and Voyager in order of airdate. It’s my mission statement to always give my honest opinion on each and every episode regardless of what the popular opinion is, so sometimes I have some hot takes. I prefer character based stories. I try to analyze the writing, acting, cinematography, and music of each episode, with emphasis on the writing. I explore themes and commentaries on the episode and give my opinion on whether or not it works, as well as explore some behind the scenes tidbits and trivia, and share my personal experience with the episode. We also hear from my patreon supporters and what they think of the episode. So check me out and give it a listen.

Join me as I cover Lwaxana's first appearance. She's not my favorite character, but I think this appearance isn't that bad actually. I find some of it quite funny and the character story with the plague ridden species and how they use new age beliefs to have a fantastical story about destiny, actually found that a little touching.

Join me as I cover this boring Q episode where he promises to play games with the crew but doesn't really. Instead we get a boring plot of Q trying to give Riker powers but it immediately corrupts him. yawn

Join me as I cover this terrible episode that always gives me a headache. It is one of the most syndicated feeling episode of TNG as the villain is two dimensional and ridiculous and it's just boring.

Join me as I cover the episode that is by and large despised by the fan base, but I think it's okay. Yes it's got a lot of cheesy 80's customs where everyone is scantily clad and oiled up and in all to obvious attempt to look sexy. And the laws of the planet don't really make any sense, but I think it actually asks some interesting moral questions. And it features a great Picard speech, you gotta love that.

Join me as I cover this ridiculous episode that use the tired cliche of an alien body invader, in this case the alien takes over Picard and he is very obviously not fit for command but the senior staff dick around instead of relieving him of duty, and when they finally try he uses a "I know you are but what am I?" routine and this actually works. But anyone long story short Picard is beamed into space by the alien, but the crew uses the transporter as magic to bring Picard back to life, why they don't resurrect everyone who dies with the transporter in this way I'm not sure. And then there's alien delegation that come onboard, and a murder of a delegate that they were in charge of their safety that could cause a diplomatic incident, but when Yar reports it to Riker and Picard they just tell her to leave them alone and stop bothering them with her bull****

Join me and Darrin as we breakdown and discuss my #21 in my Top 25 favorite episodes of the Star Trek franchise, which is the 6th season Next Generation episode "Frame of Mind". The mind bendy, creep and eerie episode where Riker seems to be going insane.

Join me as I cover the first decent episode of the show, as we get a space adventure when a strange alien comes onboard and enhances the ships' engines so much the Enterprise ends up flying several galaxies away, and then they go into a strange realm where their thoughts become reality. This touches on a lot of New Age philosophies about thoughts controlling reality, but that's all good, it's actually a fairly good episode.

Join me as I cover the botched attempt to introduce a main villain into the show that went so badly, the Ferengi would disappear for a while only to come back as silly comic relief characters. Otherwise the episode is kind of bland, too much like TOS.

Join me as I cover one of the most infamous episodes of Star Trek, known for being incredibly racist and a little sexist as well. Most cast and crew refer to this episode as a piece of ****. But even if you look past the bigotry the episode is extremely cheesy, tries to be too much like the Original Series, and is just flat out not good.

Join me as I cover the episode that just re does an episode of TOS but way worse. Data gets the virus but Riker doesn't for some reason. 14 year old Wesley displays God like powers, and Worf is a snitch.
