Welcome to Enchantment of Eternity. I’m Marc, and I’m on a mission to analyze every episode of the Star Trek Franchise. I started with The Original Series, and then moved on to The Next Generation, and now I’m covering Deep Space Nine and Voyager in order of airdate. It’s my mission statement to always give my honest opinion on each and every episode regardless of what the popular opinion is, so sometimes I have some hot takes. I prefer character based stories. I try to analyze the writing, acting, cinematography, and music of each episode, with emphasis on the writing. I explore themes and commentaries on the episode and give my opinion on whether or not it works, as well as explore some behind the scenes tidbits and trivia, and share my personal experience with the episode. Join me as I cover this overrated episode with a lot of ham acting and a PSA "hey kids, don't smoke grass". It's a TERRIBLE analogy for drugs, and the moral of the story really is productiveness and hard work is more important than happiness. But it does have one good scene with Spock having to break up with someone which is quite powerful so there is that.

Join me as I cover this totally overrated episode, that people like just because it has Khan in it. Khan, Khan, Khan, so what? The episode itself is mediocre at best as Khan is supposed to have super intelligence and super strength yet he is outsmarted by Kirk, and all it takes to defeat him is for Kirk to hit him with a plastic tube.

Join me as I cover one of my favorite episodes of The Original Series, one that is underrated in my opinion, and it also is way ahead of its time, as the episode is more relevant now than it was when it was made, as it deals with how war technology can make killing more comfortable, and so it happens more.

Join me as I cover this much hated and much panned episode that I actually really like, sue me. This was always one of my favorites growing up because I think it presents a fascinating sci-fi premise with a richly dark and melancholy ending. Is there over the top ham acting? Yes, but really what TOS episode doesn't have over the top ham acting? Is it boring? No, I don't think so, I was captivated, but that's just me.
