Enchantment of Eternity’s Star Trek Episode Reviews
Welcome to Enchantment of Eternity. I’m Marc, and I’m on a mission to analyze every episode of the Star Trek Franchise. I started with The Original Series, and then moved on to The Next Generation, and now I’m covering Deep Space Nine and Voyager in order of airdate. It’s my mission statement to always give my honest opinion on each and every episode regardless of what the popular opinion is, so sometimes I have some hot takes. I prefer character based stories. I try to analyze the writing, acting, cinematography, and music of each episode, with emphasis on the writing. I explore themes and commentaries on the episode and give my opinion on whether or not it works, as well as explore some behind the scenes tidbits and trivia, and share my personal experience with the episode. We also hear from my patreon supporters and what they think of the episode. So check me out and give it a listen.

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Season 5 Episode 1 "Apocalypse Rising" explained. Join me as I review and recap the episode where Sisko, Worf, Odo and O'Brien go under cover, disguised as Klingons in order to expose Gowron as a Challenging, only to get caught but then Odo discovers that it was Martok who was the changeling all along. Things annoy me about this episode, Dukat isn't your friend, Klingons should be, but other than that a passable episode that is neither extraordinary nor terrible. Avery Brooks makes a great Klingon and should have always played one in my opinion. Come see my first reaction as I breakdown the episode and attempt to give my in depth analysis

Star Trek: Voyager Season 3 Episode 3 "The Swarm" explained. Join me as I review and recap the episode where The Doctor runs out of memory space and needs to update his hard drive, or he'll be shut down. And they try to play this off for obvious and cheap comedy. Oh and also there's a subplot about some alien of the week attacking Voyager, which the episode and promos try to play them off as big and scary but all Voyager needs to do is polarize the hull or whatever to beat them, so no one cares about them. Join me as I review and recap the episode where Tom and Harry are falsey accussed of a crime they didn't commit and thrown in prison and forced to........... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Star Trek: Voyager Season 2 Episode 25 "Flashback" explained. Join me as I review and recap the episode where SULU IS BACK!!! Well, sort of. We get a weak story about Tuvok having a disease causing him to go back in his memories when he served under Sulu, and nothing has anything really to do with the virus, so is all a nostalgic waste of time. And as good as it was to see George Takei again, I didn't like the fact that it had to be set doing Star Trek VI, and wish it could have been an original story. And the excuse they gave to have Sulu on the show was paper thin. Come see my first reaction as I breakdown the episode and attempt to give my in depth analysis

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Season 4 Episode 25 "Broken Link" explained. Join me as I review and recap the 4th season finale, and in my opinion the weakest season finale in the show. Not that it's terrible, it's fine, but not really deserving of being a finale. There are some good character moments and the twist ending was great, but let's face it most of the episode is Odo lying in bed being grumpy not really the stuff finales are made of. Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Season 4 Episode 24 "Body Parts" explained. Join me as I review and recap where Quark is told he is going to die so he tries to sell his remains to the highest bidder, but when he discovers he's not going to die, it turns out it was all a ruse by Brunt to force Quark to either kill himself or break a contract that would result in his exile from Ferengi culture. After much self reflection Quark decides on the latter and his friends come to his aid. Also this is the episode where Kieko's baby is beamed into Kira so they can account for why Nana Visitor is pregnant. An overall better episode than I expected it to be, as Brunt actually comes off as intimidating in this episode and the moral decision Quark must make is a good character story. Come see my first reaction as I breakdown the episode and attempt to give my in depth analysis

Star Trek: Voyager Season 2 Episode 25 "Resolutions" explained. Join me as I review and recap the episode where Janeway and Chakotay get stranded on a planet with a disease that would kill them if they leave the planet. They meet a monkey and fall in love, sort of. Meanwhile Tuvok takes command of Voyager and is a dick to Harry Kim who is acting insubordinate which is out of character for him (it's not out of character for Tom Paris though, I'm not saying, I'm just saying). Even though I was completely against the premise of this episode on principle; how Hollywood also have to smash a male and female lead together, it works surprisingly well in this episode and turns out out to be quite touching. And the ending where Janeway and Chakotay have to go back to their standard professional relationship is tragic. Plus I love the continuity of seeing the Doctor's girlfriend again so all and all a pretty strong episode. Come see my first reaction as I breakdown the episode and attempt to give my in depth analysis
